Reflection

I have learned that music is very important in the foundation phase learners especially when introducing a lesson. The teacher should always be prepared and direct the learners on everything they have to do in the class.  The teacher must always know what is that she/he wants the learners to achieve when using music in the class.

My opinion about the value of utilising arts integration in the foundation phase

Learners can demonstrate their own understanding in different ways and gain many skills through arts. Art integration can promote active learning, cognitive development, problem solving and emotional intelligence. It is also promote collaborative learning where peers can share some ideas with their peers to gain knowledge.
