Part 1:

I can not believe we are almost done with September. I am feeling very tired, overwhelmed by all the assignments, the week was very busy at work, and trying to manage study work after hours as well.

Part 2:

Everyone works together to produce discipline, spirit, imagination, capacity to interact, generate change, therapeutic effects, learners acquire a variety of assessment capabilities, sense, and sensitivities, and play incorporates a multiplicity of aspects.

I learned the importance of play and how to integrate aspects of play into music activities, the importance of musical play in multicultural classrooms, many forms of musical games, play characteristics, the function of musical play, and the importance of play for overall development. Play promotes physical, social, and emotional development, as well as cognitive development. Through their participation in play activities, students have the opportunity to master a variety of ideas, physical, social, and intellectual abilities

Part 3:

This study unit has a lot of content that I can use to teach children musical play in my classroom. I enjoyed it very much to apply what I have learned in my classroom.

Individual reflection

Because not all learners know Zulu, they will be uncomfortable because they will be unable to know the words and will be unable to move to the music because they don’t know it. Some students are shy and will not feel comfortable dancing in front of others; other students may laugh at them if they are unable to dance.

Why were some learners uncomfortable?

Because they all come from different cultural backgrounds, and they all have different languages. Not all learners understand what they are listening. They ont feel part of the song. Some learners may feel uncomfortable dancing in Infront of other people.

Can you think of ways to address these issues in the future? What will you change?

They can also use translation papers to help them understand what they're reading they can give the learners bilingual lyrics of the songs. The teacher can give the learners background information about the song. The instructor can explain that learning another language is beneficial because it gives you the ability to communicate with people from a wider range of cultural backgrounds. When it comes to the dancing, the instructor may choose to form girl groups and boy groups or ask the learners what would make them comfortable. They can explain that it's normal to be nervous and that we don't make fun of one other but rather exchange knowledge and have a good time. Interaction is critical because it helps students function better in the areas of socialization, cognitive, and physical coordination.

How can we accommodate diverse learner profiles in our classrooms? What must we beware of?

Students will be more engaged, productive, and welcome if the instructor creates a welcoming environment with flexible learning experiences.

Create choices to address the various learner learning profiles and strategies to assist learners to understand their learning profiles in your professional classroom topics. Different learner profiles may be accommodated by using learning styles, cultures, gender, and intelligence preferences that vary among individuals. Rearrange the classroom to better suit the needs of the students. Achieve a positive learning experience for all students. Approach customized education depending on the interests of students

Create an environment in the classroom where each student may accomplish their own best within the context of their individualism.

Consider employing several delivery methods to differentiate your information, such as lectures, audio, readings, and videos. Use manipulatives, varying lengths of time for learners to grasp the information, interest centers, flexible grouping, and scaffolding to differentiate your process activities. Be aware that not all students will have the same learning profile as you. Exercise caution while deciding what to teach and how to teach it, as well as the learning environment you set up.

My name is Hanke, I am from Limpopo, I am a grade 2 teacher and loving every moment of my learning and teaching journey. I love to give children the love and support they need to succeed in life. My favorite thing to teach them is values that they can carry the rest of their lives and make them better people.

I love the module at the beginning of the year I was scared and unsure but I have learned so much valuable content that I was able to apply in my teaching journey. I hope that this module will continue providing me with valuable content.

My motto is: '' It always seems impossible until it's done!''
