I have learned that music helps teachers to teach learners holistically as many of them have different berries in learning. We engaging them in poetry , music and music games, rhyming , they socialize , have time to relax with soft music. We also intergrade subject with music, we make learning to be joyful with music, in the beginning of the lesson we sing and in the middle and the end, we also dance rhyme and do all sorts of activities that makes learners to enjoy the lesson. Children with barriers do not feel neglected they are also accommodated they connect with the music and the dancing. Music is diverse and inclusive in education. Allows teachers to teach holistically learners also use their senses .Music in promotes group work motivates and improves the memory of learners. Teaching music to learners in their early age it helps them to be knowledgeable, skillful, sociable and good personality. i Enjoyed working with team ,i have  learned a lot from my peers , reading their blogs and forum it really helped with my studies.

Please explain how you would advocate for and heighten awareness about the importance of assessment when speaking with your HOD about your concern in this regard.

Explain that assessment is essential because it leads to improved learning, Improved teaching and provides information that can be useful for accountability purposes such as teachers learners evaluation. It is tough to do as music teachers are usually extremely busy and, in many cases teach a large number of students.
