THERE ARE 4 FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO DEBELOPMENT IN SOUTH AFRICA.

1) MIGRATION 

People who live in the rural areas go to live in the city because most jobs are in the city ,to support their families back home. Another reason people migrate have hopes of livivng in the city to change their lives.

3)Another factor that could contribute to the development of South Africa. I believe there is a high chances modernization will help our countries trade with other countries in ,hence there is development and an increase the countries GDP.

3)Change in political transformation.

I believe once the is change is our political leaders would bring about change. e.g in South Africa people should get red of the unqualified leaders whom brings no improvement but instead put young educated people in parliament because times have changed hence the poolitical powers change.

Experts believe that Poverty is a state where  person cannot afford basic needs and whose financial status is low and earns below minimum wage. People who live in poverty lie in informal settlements ,depend on the Government for health services, no electricity and have a poor service delivery.

The only benefits people in poverty receives free healthcare, free education and most people do not       get taxed, children get free books and women with children get grant money to raise their children. There are many foundations and projects to help the poor.

Depression

Depression is a social problem. It is caused be by  a social origin abuse and is believed to be harmful to people as  it  can resort to self-harming and suicide. Depression is not a personal choice, it can be caused genes, personality and things that happened on the outside/physical world, this social problem can be prevented by taking medication or going through counselling.

Smash-and-Grab

Smash-and –Grab is not a social problem because it is said that a social problem is not a personal choice while Smash-and-Grab is a personal choice, it is also only harmful to the people that are experiencing it and not many people.

Rape

Rape is a social problem because it affects people in a Society. Rape affects a huge  number of people on a daily basis, this issue is not a personal choice and it can be caused by a bad history of paedophilia in ones childhood.

Fast food

Fast food is not a social problem because it does not affect many people and it doesn’t prevent people from reaching their goals. It does not originate from social conditions and it does not threaten the society we believe in.

HIV/AIDS

HIV/AIDS is a social problem because it can be harmful to many people and it can caused by social conditions such as sexual abuse, HIV/AIDS can be threatening to our values and it is not a personal choice.
