Poverty has its own advantages and disadvantages. However, we never notice the advantages poverty has on individuals or the community. Poverty has a few benefits.

1. Education- poverty lead to the government creating free education for people who cannot afford to pay their school fees and provided feeding schemes at schools. Which, helps children in the community to get access to food.

2. Domestic work- upper class people create job opportunities by hiring people to do domestic work for them whether it's in a hotel, hospital or their homes.

3. Recycling- People would do anything to put food on their table. So, they pickup litter like cans and bottles and take them it to scrapyard. By doing this, they are cleaning the environment we stay in and also getting money.

4. Low wage income- people get hired to do hard labour and get paid a small income. For example, working on a sugarcane or vegetable farm. It provides food for the country but the people planting the food get low income but learn how to plant their own vegetables.

5. Job opportunities- people facing poverty end up creating jobs for their selves. Like opening a tuck shop and hiring people to assist them with it. By them doing that, they not only providing a income for themselves but more families in the community.

6. Crime- In the community people learn to trust each other. Which, makes the crime rate low in that area, because it is not easy to break into people's homes since the houses are all closely built.

Poverty helps people notice that they have hidden talent that they can use to make a income for themselves.

  4. Although the postmodern theory believes that the world has change and we need to adapt to the changes. Traditionally this theory still believes that men have more power than women.
  5. Women should be given a voice to speak out. They should be allowed to express their feelings about what is happening in the political life, economic life without them being judge because they are females.
  6. It is time we stop gender inequality because we are all the same, and we are all capable of doing the same things.

  1. Postmodern theory views reality as what we see it or what the community sees it.
  2. The world is seen as a totally different thing from what it was in the past.
  3. The postmodern theory believes that we need new theories. To help us adapt to the change that is happening in the world.
  4. The postmodernist theory believes that it is not possible for anyone to objective knowledge of another culture. Since our culture and traditions are continuously changing.
  5. According to postmodernist orientation reality is inaccessible by human investigation. The knowledge they get is a social construction, which shows that political power really plays a huge role in our daily life’s.
  6. This theory basically shows us that the world is constantly changing, and as humans we need to know how to adapt and be ready for change.
