The WAD come to existence as result of three main feminist movement dealing with females daily issues. the one was introduced by the issues which women suffer from on their daily bases such as sexual violence, the women were fighting for equality as they wanted to take part in the process of vote casting and political world. this approach apply to feminist in South Africa as females fight issues such as sexual violence which lead to GBV ( Gender based violence) movement. women fought to be involved in political world as it was male dominated industry even to the present day in South Africa.
WAD come to existence in 1975 from Mexico city, it focuses on female issues in neo-Marxist perspective and the depedency. women fought for themselves to be economically free and not to be undermined in the economic perspective, females wanted equality in terms of capital and materialist things. the development also apply in South Africa as females still fight that women should earn the same amount of money as males in the same space of employment and be allowed to work in spaces which were considered as male based duty.
GAD was developed by the social feminist as it serves a change point in the manner in which females has the understanding of feminist approach. it take comparison between the authority which is rated upon females and the males, it also apply in South African context as women would like to be treated equally with males and there should be difference in authority.
the post development and modern feminism has its roots issues on the perspective that females are always on the receiving end of the male products and work, they perceive women as the takers and the people that are always in the site of being weak.

poverty is defined according to individual, groups or family. poverty can be defined as the lack of basic needs such as food for the da as a person is not classified under a poor person when they afford three meals a day. lack of basic needs such a proper shelter were a person should feel safe an warm. a family that can not afford to take a vacation one a year, an individual that can not afford to go for a luck with loved one once a month. a family tat has no means to meet for lunch once in a month and a child which does not have friends and ca not afford to drink a tea in month, unless it is a personal choice. a family that have no means or can not afford to have a refrigerator and other things such as electricity, toilet in the house and bathing and tap with running water is considered to be under poverty.

Poverty can be defined in different manners as it has its definition in various situations. the common definition of poverty is that it is the state where there is a lack in specific areas of a person or the insufficient of quality of the product in an individuals life. Poverty has classification based on the quality which a person lack such as shelter, cloths and food which material.
poverty has lots of negative benefits on both individuals and the community. a person that suffers poverty can have many negative energy as a person may suffer low self-esteem which mat affect how they think about others and themselves. poverty affect the psychology of person and they will not be of a good benefit to the community as in most cases the focus on negative situations cannot find solutions to any situation but only make it worst.
poverty can cause depression stress, a person always overthinking which may later cause mental issues. depressed person become so weak and can easily be influenced to commit crime and become an enemy of their community. the use of drugs increase which result in various bad decisions and they affect every individual which is close to the drug user.
poverty has is positive benefits as people become humble and are able to assist one another, it brings unity and society is able to take are of each other. it allows people to communicate of issues that affect each other and be able to relate and share experiences and how to deal with it.

Conflict and Feminist theory
Gender inequality is one of the social problems which has an impact on both social problem theories. The effect that gender inequality has is that most of females are less privileged in a manner that they earn less salary than males. They are less respected provided less freedom as there are certain thinks which are regarded to be done by men and the manner in which men communicate with females differ. Women are given less authority and they are told that they can not be above any male. More males are taken seriously in political and cooperation world as they have more respect and are easily to listen to than females.
Poverty
High rate of unemployment caused by different reason such as inequality in sexuality and authority. Majority of females are unemployed because employment is classified by sexuality, some labour is classified by weight and height which is not in favour for majority of females and this allow makes to be employed and due to the reason female lead household suffer poverty. The owners of production also play a huge part in poverty as they determine who earns how much and how and when they are going to get paid. Males also suffer as they work more hours and do heavy duty but they benefit lesser than the owners of the production.
Rape
The expectations and pressure from society to males creates are huge problem as men are expected to provide for their family while earning "peanuts". Males vent their frustrating and low self esteem different ways and one of those are fulfilling their sexual desire without minding the concern. One of the issues that lead to rape is the matter of authority, Males are taught that they are superior should not listen to females.
