The understanding for the advantages of poverty for the individual is that it reveals the consequences of the unemployment, depravation and exclusion. This is based on unemployment being a stimulant of the unavailability of basic needs for one. The depravation aspect will be seen by a lack of resources or income. These people do not die, simply because there is the depracatin of the above mentioned, however its impacts do not retire by the individual, it spans out to social depravation. 

Meanwhile the material dispear aspect is solely from an individuals point, the social aspect is whe it affects families and populations. These impacts would need cartain organisations to gather research upon the and research then publish them and giving its royalties to the very participants of the stats further neutraluzing a silent kiler, poverty. 

• The view of the functionalist is maintained and established through the interaction of different parts of society while the comflict orientation views it from characters of inequality in society.
• Functionalist theory realised that social problem weaken society's stability, without revealing them. The conflict theory, on the other hand, sees the origins of social problems in the inequalities of society.
• While the conflic theory requires drastic change to eliminate social inequalities, the functionalist socialises the people's desire for social intergration and stability.
• Affirmed by the conflict orientation is the dispute by supreme and inferior groups over sources and value of goods. In contrast, functionalist view is that social problems reveal more about society, despite their negative effects
• As for the solution of social problems, the conflict theory will involve farfetched change in the structure of society. Gradual social reform is the best manner to be implimented by the functionalist theory.

In conclusion, the focus on approaching social problems by the functionalist will be on the threat of social order. Even the solution should not disrupt the social order. 

• Depression as a condition that grown prevealant with the emergence of the novel CORONA-Virus is therefor a social rpoblem. The rise in numbers of people living with depression happened as a result of media's attention towards COVID-19. My regard towards the epidemic virus does not classify it as the cause of depression, but has revealed he need for sociaty to be more observant and sift information, Non-governmantal institutions should engage with society to conscientise them about depression such as the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG)
• Considering personal observations of media public opinion portrayed in advertisements by SouthAfrican National AIDS Council (SANAC), furthermore HIV/AIDS is a social problem. As more people became HIV/AIDS posetiv, stigma was the biggest problem which propelled government to allign policy that is inclusive of posetive people. The mediacal field, cosmetics and agriculture saw the need to interdepende on one another since HIV/AIDS posetive citizens have to eat well hile usuing cosmetics that will not trigger their condition
• "Those closest to you will account for the most losses to you" is words that lingered in my head from my grandmother. The issue is not a social problem considering tha it is not everyone which has a posession to be smashed-and-grabbed. The South African Poilicing Services is the only department which has to formulate and impliment policies that combacts smash-and-grab. The situation in South Africa fo a high unemployment rate among the youth could be giving aggrevated citizens to resort to forceful reprossession seen by smash-and-grab cases.
• Rape as an incident whcih occurs between two or more people is a social problem. There are numerous cases of trauma counseling which are bought to the picture as a result of rape. The South African judicail authority has been charging the strictest penalty towards perpetrators of rape. As victims of rape grow older, building a family structure that is honourable becomes difficult.
• In a time when people used to cultivate ant fertile soil which was vacant for thi hard-work, would fast foods not be considered as a social problem. Here in the townships, every street has a fast food joint hwich is thriving through the unhealthy habits of community. There is no level of retrospective determinism with my view of fast foods . In my opinion protien shakes, diet shakes and instant porridges are part of fast foods.
