Overview
Online Assessment Process Flow (with Invigilator App)
1. Preparation Before the Assessment
- Create a profile on the Invigilator App using your official email: studentnumber@mynwu.ac.za.
- Ensure all required software is downloaded and installed on both your web browser (PC) and cellphone (Cellphone only if its a hand written paper based assessment) https://efundi.nwu.ac.za/x/OsT6zZ
- Complete the mock tests on eFundi to check that your setup works and that you are comfortable with the process.
- Confirm which permutation (Can be seen under information at Resources files) your assessment will follow, as processes differ between permutations.
2. Assessment Details
You will receive an official assessment date and time, together with a QR code.
- To start your assessment:
- Copy and paste or type the code located under the QR code into the Invigilator App for PC version or Scan QR Code for mobile version, before the start of the assessment (Time will be stated clearly in the announcement)
3. On the Day of the Assessment
- Log into the Invigilator App before the start time of your assessment (details will be clearly communicated in the announcement).
- Complete your assessment on eFundi under the applicable format (Tests & Quizzes or Assignments, depending on your permutation).
4. After Submission
- Once you have submitted your assessment on eFundi, upload your Invigilator App data. (Under tutorials each permatation has a step by step process with a mock test students can complete to familiarize themselves before the assessment.)
5. Support During the Assessment
- Send a WhatsApp message to +27 73 505 8273.
- Log a ticket with SALA Logistics for issues not related to the invigilator app
