Modernization theory holds that increase in technology will increase wealth throughout the globe, and that low income nations hence societies develop through a series of evolutionary stages and this stages are based on different degrees and patterns of social differentiation and reintegration of structural  and cultural components.

Dependency theory holds that some nations gained wealth at the expense of other nations especially through colonization thus dependency theory is the nation that resources flow from a periphery of poor and underdeveloped states to a core of wealthy states enriching the latter at the expense of the former.

-it is a social problem because it affect so many people in our daily lives ,also affect the society because they do not have knowledge on how to overcome depression. We can look into the year of 2020 whereby they mentioned about the disease covid19 most people were depressed and some of them lost  their jobs but it did not affect them only but also affected their loved onces.

-it is a social problem because it is whereby people steal something from other people it can be either their houses or their shops, and it also values of our society at risk. When people smash and grabs the are those who get injured at the end.

3.Rape

-rape it is also a social problem ,people force themself into others sexually without their permission and this affect the victim through their life time.

4.Fast food

-fast food they do not cause any harm to people but can also affect thier health and can cause obesity and they also consume lot of fast food and they put their lives at risk.

-It is a social problem, beacause this illness affect not one person but it affect many lives and it also prevent people from living because people who are affected by this illness they have to drink pills for the rest of their lives .It causes depression and some tend to commit sucide.
