Basic principles to keep in mind when planning a music lesson

- Performing arts in the foundation phase though creative games and skills. Improvisations and interpretations.
I am so interested in these lesson planning as it teach me how to create a well-planned lesson that will be naturally progressed from lower to higher order level of thinking, where by during presentation phase learners have to discover, reflect about, manipulates materials to internalise new knowledge and skills through play, discovery, collaborations and reflection and in conclusion learners demonstrate their understanding through the arts by creating and presenting on music, artwork, performance or dramatized work. Which apply to all lessons.
study unit4: art integration

Art integration is an approach of teaching in which learners construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. It has become an area of great interest over the past decades as schools across the country are discovering the power of arts. It’s interesting to learn about this art integration as I have experienced that is not about artists only, it’s about methodology and a philosophical approach to education that creates a level of personal connection and added depth in the classroom through a creative inquiry-based process of teaching and learning.
