What are the most important aspects to keep in mind when planning a lesson.

Lesson planning involves visualizing lessons before they take  place and Predicting, ordering, organizing and simplifying lessons. When organizing a classroom, teachers need to consider some possibilities related to the goals to be achieved. Learners being taught, their background, age, interests, responsibilities and resources provided. I learned that when i plan i must first think about the environment of the students i am teaching. 

Value of utilizing arts integration and play in foundation phase lessons.

I am confident that including art in the curriculum of subjects such as math will improve understanding , memory and the development of creative problem-solving skills. People with different learning environments can create educational  and learning environments that are encouraged by people with different learning needs to demonstrate understanding through art.

Has my perspective and priorities in terms of lesson preparation and incorporating music intro my classroom shifted?

 Yes, Including music and art in the classroom has a huge impact on students. it allows students to demonstrate their understanding of the subject through the art of developing social and creative thinking skills. Incorporating music also motivates learners to learn. 

Arts integration in the foundation phase

Art integration is an educational approach that allows learners to build and demonstrate understanding through art forms. We support all learners not forgetting those who are disabled. Definitely, art integration is an important tool that helps to strengthen learner's self-esteem and promote collaboration between learners, communication and teamwork. Learners can see or notice their strengths and weaknesses.

What did you find interesting?

Learners can learn  with the instruments they find through music, adaptations and pictures. In the video i watched  i found it interesting because the learners were excited to be introduced to new things and learning methods and were more active than to sit all day and watch the teacher teach. I t was interesting for learners to be able to learn what art integration offers outside of the educational and learning environment. 

What did you find difficult ?

The only difficulty for me was to give all learners the opportunity to role play. They are slow and i ran out of time, and art integration requires a great deal of time. 

Musical play in the foundation phase

Play is most important in different African cultures and in general African context. There you will see elements of play when learners participate in dance and music. Music helps the body and mind work together. When introducing music in foundation phase learners, it helps them learn the sounds and meaning of words.

Three types of play in children's culture.

TRADITION                                                                                                                                                                  The main rules in traditional games cannot be fully emphasized. Most children's games have rules that should be followed when playing them. Tradition play important role is helping young children to develop a positive sense of identity and build self-esteem.

OPEN                                                                                                                                                                            Is an improved approach known as open play. Even if open play have rules, they can be tailored to the needs of the learners in the game. The general structure of the configuration is of more important.

ORIGINAL                                                                                                                                                                   Is unusual and aimed at the pursuit of knowledge. Create  and play games based on general knowledge.

Importance of games in culturally diverse classrooms

Learners need to work together to make games successful and enjoyable. They get a sense of being a member and be flexible to choose who choose in the classroom. Play make people feel relaxed. Learners can address their person concerns through play and imagination. Playing gives people an exit to their emotions and at the same time creates a sense of community.

Building block of music are known as music elements.

We have music notion such as: 1 Pitch- the position of a single note in the entire range. Sounds has a higher or lower pitch, depending on the vibration frequency of the sound wave that produces it.         

   2 Rhythm- is a pattern of song sound, silence, and emphasis                                                                           3 Harmony- The sound of two or more notes heard simultaneously.                                                               4 Timbre- The quality of hearing produced by the sound of sound waves.                                                     5 Beat- Is a basic rhythm unit for one or more measures, do not confuse it with the rhythm itself.  

Experiencing and facilitating music concepts through movements, songs and games.

Learners often listen to music and see different musical aspects. Spontaneous or non- spontaneous movements can be upset to demonstrate the identified musical concept. You can demonstrate the melodic contours by hand.

How do music concepts relate to life skills, mathematics and languages.

Musical aspects such as stable beats, rhythms and melodies are used to teach spatial characteristics, sequences and mathematical counts. Teaching math using musical activities can improve children's cognitive thinking while making learning more enjoyable  and engaging.

1, According to my understanding, the zone of proximal Vygosky is when learners begin to develop new skills and knowledge with the help and guidance of more experienced people. A method used by either teachers, parents, or peers to help learners acquire new knowledge and skills through the use of scaffolding.

2 a, The most important aspect of Erikson's theory in my educational practice as a Foundation Phase teacher is that i motivate learners, give them credit when they are good, and earn more credit for the rest of their lives. Make sure they work hard.

b, The most important aspect of Piaget's theory in my teaching practice as a basic teacher is to teach learners to build new or skills based on existing or previous knowledge. We also apply two phases of Piaget's theory: a preoperative phase that teaches learners to express words in pictures and picture, and a concrete operational phase that teaches learners using real-life examples to improve their learning skills.

c, The most important aspect of Vrgosky's theory for my teaching practice as a teacher is to teach my learners first according to their various social factors. 

4, It is important to have a basic understanding of elementary school music development, as a music development plays a major role in creating a fun and easy learning process for elementary school students. Music development is a learning process that puts the learner at the basic stage .

5 a,Physical development Dance, playing musical instruments, club activities.

b,Cognitive development developed through musical activities such as singing songs in various language and playing musical instruments. 

c, Sing in social development groups, play in ensembles, and play together.

d, Self-development through music activities, creation of unique musical instrument, participation in various music activities, dance.

e, Perform musical activities with others to develop emotions and get better emotions, participate in emotional plays at school, and listen to certain types of songs depending on how they feel.

6, Knowing different theories is practiced in the classroom by applying different theories and making the class an excellent tool for improving both cognitive and social.
